BRIEF

We need a film that shows of a new Golf Entertainment Centre in the heart of Qiddiya, focussing on the architecture, and the future of golf itself.

We created a package of visualisation material centered around a 2-minute cinematic film for the Qiddiya District Centre project. The film focuses on the new Golf Hub Entertainment Centre where the existing mountainscape helps define the naturalistic top-end golf course as well as a next-generation urban golf experience at the District Centre. The film was used to communicate the architectural proposition to the Crown Prince os Saudi.

MAKING

The ultimate future golf experience framed by the natural landscape of Saudi's gemstone, Qiddiya.

Our film as storyboarded below, illustrates how the future can be inspired by nature, creating a high-end urban experience like never experienced before. The film is a progression from family-centric new ways to play golf, right up to pro-tournament level, all while featuring the proposed architecture and masterplan designed by HOK.

We wanted to create a film which aligned with the overall vision, which was to bring more people into golf. The film was a balance of making sure we kept the energy of the vision, while also showing off the architectural design.

RESULT

A film where Technology and Nature cohabit to shape the future of golf.

We produced a 2-minute film for HOK’s presentation for the Qiddiya Masterplan. We also generated over 30 additional stills upscaled from the film to complement the presentation.

I think the film is great, and does exactly what we asked and more, especially given the timeframe. Thanks to the whole Factory Fifteen team for their hard work and craft.
