We partnered once again with SOM Architects to create a cinematic film for their Magna waterfront design as part of Neom in Saudi Arabia. The film illustrates the concept of cutting into the landscape, revealing the raw materials of the land in a magical cinematic transformation of the land, before the new architecture monolithically extrudes in, creating a new floating habitat above the water.

Our cinematic approach was to contrast fast-moving traversal moments, exploring the site by boat, horizontal lift or by air, with more personal POV moments within each space.

SOM architects were thrilled with the film and it served as the centre piece to their stage 2 competition.
